Light a Fire
FIRE is a powerful tool that brings life. It can also be a destructive weapon that destroys everything in its path. It has many uses and purposes, but in God’s word, it frequently represents the powerful presence of the Lord.
We often think of FIRE as destructive or painful, but when we become Christians, we see the FIRE of the Holy Spirit as life-giving and helpful.
Spend time with fellow parishioners to reflect on our roles as Christian men of faith. You’ll find FIRE, driven by the Holy Spirit, in this weekend – designed by the men of Sacred Heart to ignite our faith community by sharing in the things men like to do – hanging out for a weekend with other guys just like you.

All the things you need to know
Who: All men over the age of 18
What: A retreat to have fellowship between other men in the parish
Where: LaSalle Retreat Center; 2101 Rue De La Salle Dr, Wildwood, MO 63038
When: April 9th-11th, 2021
Why: To turn a spark into a flame so that you can be on FIRE for Jesus and His Church.
Break the monotony of the pandemic by signing up for this enriching and inspirational weekend. We’ll have a ton of fun while taking a closer look at the sacraments that propel our faith. We’ll cap off the weekend with Sunday morning Mass – the source and summit of our faith.
The retreat begins Friday afternoon with your arrival at LaSalle Retreat Center between 4:00 and 5:00. The retreat includes outdoor activities, bonfires, BBQ, and a hands-on service project using our collective talents to fix some things that need fixing.
The retreat will conclude late Sunday morning after Mass in the chapel.

Investement
The donation for each retreatant is $165. A minimum of $50 is due upon registration. The remaining $115 is due upon arrival on Friday afternoon, April 9th.

PLEASE NOTE: Financial difficulties should not prevent anyone from attending the retreat. If you wish to inquire about a scholarship or need further info regarding the retreat, see the Points of Contact Tab.

How to Pay1. To pay with a CHECK, please make a $50 deposit or pay the $165 in full. If you chose to pay the deposit, please bring the remainder of your payment of $115 which is due upon arrival on April 9th.Please make checks payable to “Sacred Heart Church with “Fire Retreat” in memo and mail it in with your registration form to:

So, for a deposit, $51.50 will be charged and $118.45 for the balance due on April 9. The full amount will be $169.95
