Last year, The Ladies Club at Sacred Heart (TLC) had a blast serving up comfort, community, family, fun, and fashion (and some pretty great food too) for over 3,300 parish members and their guests at 27 different events.
We are committed to carry out our mission of bringing to life the Sacred Heart of Jesus through a spirit of service and hospitality, but we could use a few more hands every so often to carry out that mission.
Wouldn’t it be great if during crunch times we could “call up the reserves” and have a few more people join us for a couple of hours or so at an event? Great idea – let’s try it!
The Sacred Heart Hospitality Corps is being formed to tap into the time and talents of parishioners who aren’t necessarily in a specific parish organization but who are willing to help at parish events on an as-needed basis.
No meetings. No expectation or obligation to say yes every time. Just a willingness to be asked, and to serve when possible.
The jobs are easy and give you the chance to meet others in the parish. Serve food or beverage, staff a registration table, sell raffle tickets, prepare food, set up, clean up. Help for a couple of hours or a full event.
Events where you may be invited to help include:
The Hospitality Corps is managed by The Ladies Club at Sacred Heart and open to all adults of the parish. If you have questions or ideas, please contact Paula Godar at paula.godar@gmail.com or Debbie Peluso at 636-225-7675.
