Sports programs are open to all boys and girls who live within the geographic boundaries of Sacred Heart Parish.
ABOUT US
The Sacred Heart Athletic Association is a member of the CYC South Central District. Parish members provide guidance and coaching to the youth involved in athletic activities in addition to promoting good sportsmanship, respect for rules, and self-discipline among all participants; coaches, players, and spectators.
MISSION
The mission of the Sacred Heart Athletic Association Sports Programs is to provide children with the opportunity to learn individual and team skills in an atmosphere of Christian behavior and fellowship.
ELIGIBILITY
Sports programs are open to all boys and girls who live within the geographic boundaries of Sacred Heart Catholic Church (with the exception of Track and Field). Girls and boys in Pre-kindergarten through 12th grade are eligible to participate. Please note that SHAA policy requires that all registered parishioners of Sacred Heart have their children registered in religious education in order to participate in our athletic programs. Failure to do so will result in your child not being placed on a roster for the upcoming season.
No child will be denied an opportunity to play in the Sacred Heart program due to financial hardship.
The Athletic Association holds a regular monthly meeting on the 3rd Thursday of each month. All are welcome to attend these meetings beginning at 8:00 pm in the Mary and Joseph Rooms of the Parish Center.
