There are weekly celebrations of the sacrament in church every Saturday afternoon from 3:45 p.m. – 4:40 p.m.  If it is not possible for an individual to come at that time, he or she should feel free to call one of the parish priests to arrange an appointment.  The priests are more than happy to do this.

During Advent and Lent the priests of the parish lead the community in communal prayer services followed by individual confessions.

The parish prepares children to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time around the age of seven (second grade) prior to First Communion. The process of sacramental catechesis, which includes the parents, begins in the grade one curriculum. Immediate preparation begins in the fall of grade two. The process is separate from, but cooperates with, religious education, Catholic school religion classes, and home schooling. The process culminates usually in November with the communal celebration of Reconciliation with individual confessions.

Parents who have children in grades three through eight who have not received their First Reconcilation should contact Mrs. Cheryl Degenhart in the Religious Education Office at 636-225-0341 or email her at

Young adults (including High School) and adults who wish to receive their First Reconciliation should contact Sr. Cathy at 636-225-5268 or email her at
